Chapter 13

Aggie didn’t know what to say about all of this. It was hard to fathom that all that was caused by her reaction to Eldon. Though she did have to remember that they were men after all and ultimately think with their dicks most of the time. They all finally cleaned up and composed themselves and none of them apologized for the display, not that Aggie wanted them to at all.

“Let’s get this over with. I would like to get back to my evening. Unlike the rest of you, I keep getting interrupted and I have whatever the girl version of blue balls is.” After the display she just saw, the band-aid had been ripped off and the filter removed. There is no need to hide behind propriety or formalities. Judging by the mixed responses she was receiving back through the link, they were shocked and some were becoming once again turned on. She wasn’t sure how to react other than to speed up the process. “Gryson?”

“I have the antidote right here.” Gryson made his way to the twins’ fridge.

“Wow, you make it sound like we have been infected by a disease, which is so reassuring.” Aggie rubbed her hands up and down her arms to tame the hormonal goosebumps radiating through her.

“Well, I wouldn’t call it a disease in the traditional sense of the word, but you have been infected. Part of what I used to implement it was kind of like a tapeworm.” Gryson said the words with clinical coldness.

“I knew something was off about this thing. My wolf has been practically crawling up the walls of my insides trying to get out. I’m going to have to let him out for a bit after we take this, if I can keep him contained that long.” Mitchell rubbed the back of his neck trying to soothe the itching of his wolf scratching to get out. Aggie was so shocked by the news she ran to meet Gryson on the other side of the room and grabbed the first vial she could get her hands on and urged the others to do the same.

“So how do we do this, one, two, three, drink or does it just have to be close together?” Aggie had a new sense of urgency and wanted this over with if there was something living in her to keep the link connected.

“As long as it is close, that is all that matters. We each contain a piece of the same creature, so once it is incapacitated it will reconnect as one inside the last vial that is drunk.” Gryson still didn’t seem to see how wrong it was to keep this from everyone.

Without another word, Aggie drank hers in one gulp followed quickly by Mathius and Ren. The rest followed suit and Gryson was the last one. They all waited with bated breath watching Gryson’s vial. Then a moment later, just as Gryson described, the small creature appeared inside his vial. Aggie refused to look any closer when she realized it was furry, rather than slimy, as she had assumed it would be.
